My Outlook Express 6 keeps locking up on me. For a while, I have no problem downloading emails, but after a short time, no more emails are downloaded. When I click on Send/Rec, nothing happens. I have to shut down and reboot my computer in order to receive new emails.

Certain incoming email gets to my web-based ISP (Embarqmail.com) but doesn't forward to OE6. I checked the OE6 settings. I run Windows XP Version 2002 Home Edition SP2 and IE7.

First of all it takes forever for Outlook Express to open. Sometimes it opens, and sometimes it just freezes up. When OE does open, I can see where it says "receiving mail", I will receive a few emails then all of a sudden I get an error message:

I'm using Windows xp and OE6 sp2. I often get this message on my Inbox-Outlook Express. "Your mailbox is over the high water mark. Please delete some messages from your mailbox!"

Our company uses OE for about 80 IMAP accounts that our clients send email to. We need a spam filter that will be effective for these as well as the default inbox. Any ideas?

At present, I am using "Philip K" to identify myself as the sender listed in the "From" column for my posts to all newsgroups. 1. How can I change this to another name. 2. Can I use different names when I post to different news groups.

I upgraded office 2003 to 2007. I assumed the email data would be saved and auto imported into the new version of outlook. This is not the case.

I can receive emails in my Outlook Express, but ones I send do not reach the recipients even though they show in my sent box. My ISP recommended using webmail or another email program. I'd rather fix Outlook Express if possible. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? ...

Spammers are sending out emails without a subject line and a picture instead of text. I haven't been able to add to message rules w/ no subject. Is there a way to block this type of email?
