Until about two weeks ago when I deleted an item ifrom the sent or inbox
folders it went into deleted items.  Now, when I select delete the item in
either of the above it is being deleted steaight away & completely & not
going into deleted items.  The OUTLOOK EXPRESS version that ...

On the normal schedule, as I close Outlook Express, I get the message "To
free up disk space Outlook Express can compact messages.  This may take up
to a few minutes."
With no other programs or applications running I tell the system to go ahead

When I send/receive only the smallest of size message will come through to
OE.  If there is even the smallest attachment or even a reasonable amount of
copy it won't come off the server.  The internet connection appears to be
fine & I can see my email on my web based mail.

Without warning, and without explanation my Outlook Express email no longer
downloads nor transmits email. I have attempted to resolve the issue with the
email client Bellsouth.net, without success. I stayed on the phone with the
service rep for several hours making one attempt ...

I found out that my inbox apparently has a
maximum capacity & could not take in any more messages.  Now I am trying to
delete a portion of them.  It began deleting fine but now will not delete any
more.  I've empited the deleted folder thinking that it needed more room

I've just completed a search through my entire Local File Folder and have
those results displayed on a window.  I also have OE up and showing the
Inbox and similar level directories in another window.
When I try to display my Inbox in OE I get a box saying that it couldn't

I use OE with 3 identities on my system.  One "fine" day, i found all the
mail boxes empty in all the 3 identities.  All the folders and messages
gone.  I was left only with the default folders empty.  Have no clue what
could have caused this.  Need some inputs cos i cant afford ...

Please help, I'm at my wit's end.  How can I stop OE from exeuting when I
boot up my laptop?  I've tried everything, but no matter what I do, I keep

For the last few days, OE6 sends my message, but leaves it in the outbox and
does not put it in the sent messages box.  I have to manually delete the
message, and of course it goes into Deleted items instead of Sent items.  I
get a "warning" message, but no codes or error message ...

I know this has been answered before, but after restoring my system, I have
gotten my mail stores and everything is working fine except that OE will not
keep my email password.  Can you please me the steps to make OE remember my

After booting only 2 or 3 emls can be xmitted before “unknow error” shows up
on comm screen.  Then can’t open sent box and sometimes cant open in box.  
Must reboot to send a couple more emls.
Have compacted

I recently installed Office 2007, and now Outlook Express spelling is set
for french.  That's the only choice I have.
