Every time I reboot (Windows XP Pro SP2) I get a message box headed DirectDBNotifyWndProc with an End Now button. From a Google search it seems to be a general opinion that this is to do with Outlook Express, but nobody seems to know what it is or how the problem

I have now been unable to download Hotmail into Outlook Express for a week. We've established that the problem is not caused by Trend Micro's programs, and is likely a server issue. PA Bear suggested just waiting for MS to resolve probable server problems, as happened in 2003 ...

I had a hal.dll error and had to reboot with xp pro as it would not except home edition. I can find my emails if I search for .dbx but can't open them. How do I get my emails so I can read them.

Using OE Version 6 with XP Pro. Opened OE to find all emails in the IN box and the SENT box were missing. Plus my own folders from F to Z were missing too, Those from A to E were still in place! Have found store folder for all the email folders which seems to contain

For some time, I was able to highlight certain words and change to a selected font color while composing in OUTLOOK EXPRESS. I, all of a sudden, no longer seems to be able to do that. I am using RICH TEXT and have unchecked the STATIONERY button..but that does no solve the issue.
