I use OE 6 (winXP SP 2 and winXP SP3 RC) as a newsreader. I'm doing some testing. There are two NNTP-servers over here, they don't have exactly the same list of newsgroups (1 has an extended version), but you can connect to them using the same servername (RRDNS).

Running XP home and OE and several messages from about 5-6 weeks ago cannot be viewed. Some are text only with no images. Message says not enough memory. I have restarted OE and rebooted several times - no change. Any ideas?

I backed up my Identities Outlook Express folder. I formated my drive and now I want to import my mail. Problem is, I didn't save the Identity GUID. Is it possible to recover/read the Identity GUID from a backed up Outlook Express folder?

Hope someone can help! My 'default' Inbox is now up to Inbox (4).dbx I have tried moving my messages into a temporary temp.dbx, deleted all the Inbox/dbx files (Inbox.dbx + the ones from (1) through (4)...)

Is there any way to delay sending an email or email reply? There are times that I would like to write an email but not send it for several days. I know I can save it as a draft and then manually send it, but I would prefer to send it automatically at the specified time.

I copied all the settings in windows/application/microsoft/oe/ before reformatting. How do I get them back? File/import or can I just highlight all the old files, copy, and paste them into the new oe folder in windows applications?

All mail in my inbox is being deleted after being read. I can't find anything in options that would stop that. I've used outlook for years and have never come across this problem. I'm now using the windows vista, windows mail.
