I know all about the option in Send tab to "Automatically put people I reply to in my Address Book." But is there a similar setting for senders? That is, can OE be configured to automatically place an e-mail sender's contact information

My daughter is having a problem with her OE6. She is able to receive incoming emails, but when trying to send, the message gets stuck in the outbox and she gets a box saying "unable to connect to the POP3 server, followed a minute or so later by a message "unable to connect

I have one email that I am unable to delete from my inbox. I read that some are able to delete their emails that seem to be "stuck," after reopening their Outlook, but I have not been able to do so. Please let me know how to remove this email from my computer.

Can anyone help? I have set up 3 profiles on my PC but in one profile OE stops responding when you click on an embedded link, it then affects Internet explorer which stopps responding. I removed the problem profile and copied all the files to a new profile but the same thing ...

It seems that Newsgroups can be available from Outlook (hoorah!). Trying to follow the instructions (see below) I find that the Commands list mentioned in 5, under "How?", doesn't include "News" and so I can't drag it to the "Go" menu.

If I forward an email that has imbeded images, the images do not arrive... just a box. If I create an email with pics all is fine

Just wondering, after all these years, why does this program highlight, or add, a word spelled exactly the same as it's checking? "Everyone" hears and sees those incidences as identical; even me. Thank ya'all

Can I recover deleted e-mails that have been deleted from the deleted items folder. I know I can use a file reclaimer as I have used one in the past to recover our "My documents" after a rush of blood to the head from my OH.

On XP- home. OE 6 worked well with "mailwasher" by Lavasoft. Then I added "Send Personally" by Mapilab. Now when I switch identities, OE freezes and says no message selected. I must use <ctl. alt. del.> to shut OE. When I restart, the new identity is there, but the message ...

In Windows 98 I could back up OE messages by copying the ".dbx" archive file contained in the folder: C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{89532880-DDF9-11D3-A724-EC27CFEB5E38}\Microsoft\Outlook
