I have subscribed to a number of newsgroups.  The are set to view by
group -- so follow-up posts stay with the initial post which are listed by
date/time. (although it doesn't seem to make a difference to my problem if I
change it to chronological listing of posts.)

I use to have the options to crop and have arrow pointers etc in Outlook.  
The last time my computer was re-imaged these options disappeared.  Does
anyone know how to get them back?  For now I am doing my work in word and
copying and pasting into outlook.

Is there a way of stopping the toolbar from resizing over the course of a day?
All of the tools, ie. Create Mail, reply, Send/Recv... gradually get bigger,
until I can no longer select Send/Recv because its fallen off the edge of the
screen!!! Not literally;)

have a problem with making it keep its view layout. every time I set it when
open it up the next time it has gone back to the default and says that
Outlook Express did not shut down right last time.   What in the heck has
happened ? Was working just fine.

called Smart Explorer 6.1 all still operating under Win98SE.
I can open, send and receive HTTP and POP3 while operating totally under
Outlook Express.

My computer crashed while Outlook Express was compacting folders.  Now, all
the messages in my Inbox, Sent Items and another folder I had made are
missing, although frustratingly my messages in Deleted Items are still
there!!  All my account settings and contacts remain intact.
