How do I change OE to NOT be my default email client?

Whenever I click on "view online" or a web address link from an email in
outlook express, two identical tabs of the same webpage are opened in IE7.
How do I get this to stop and just open one tab? I only click on the link
once, so the second tab is not due to double clicking.

For the last 48 hours have not been able to send out email using Outlook
Express 6. Have 2 separate machines, with separate MSN accounts and separate
dialup lines with same problem and only problem. Error Msg = [Server:

Just recently I can not send any emails. Using OE6 with xpsp2 fully updated.
My avg is set to NOT scan incoming nor outgoing email. I use msn for my ISP.

I don't know why this is happening. it started about a month ago for

OE6 cannot download all messages from the some topic
OE is configured to download "all messages"

on our hoster, I have started setting up new e-mail addresses each time I
need to deal with a new company.  For example, when I started dealing with

I have XP and outlookexpress    and find some e-mails arrive not showing the
picture but instead a little box with a small red X in one corner,which will
not open to show the picture.
I cannot remember how to correct this,can anyone please setout the steps

Start, Control Panel, double click Add or Remove Programs, click Add/Remove
Windows Components, uncheck Outlook Express, click Next, repeat and check
Outlook Express. You may be prompted for your Windows install CD.

I use Outlook Express 6.  Recently faults started developing and another has
happened today.
First, there is a danger when I click on an item in my in-box to delete it
not only does that item delete but one or more others delete also.

2 HDD one with XP pro SP3 OE Ver 6+ .   and one with Vista ultimate & SP1
question is : how do I import my xp mail and settings (Rules Etc) into
vista's mail ver7 OE

I just recently switched a user over from dial-up to High Speed Broadband.
Now the user's Outlook Express 6.0 email will not send. They receive fine,
and the Internet works fine too. All settings seem to be in order. I even
disabled e-mail scanning in their McAfee program and ...

There are emails that I can delete and other that I cannot. Any idea of the
origin of the problem and of any solution?

Have a computer that OE freezes when trying to open and can only be closed by
task manager or resetting the computer. Windows XP Home, IE 7 and patches are
up to date. Think that OE needs to be reinstalled but want to save messages
