I had to reload Word and since then when I go to spell check in Outlook I receive an error message.... Anyone have any thoughts?
Before you say it, I do have spell check in word and it does work in that program.

After performing a complete reinstall of all software I am now unable to
download emails.  When one, two, or three emails have been received the
process hangs and a message that the server has not reponded appears.  I

At present I am using Outlook Express 6.0 for my mail. I have problem
in my Outlook Express like I can not see my Inbox mail. Actually my
inbox.dbx file size is 1.34GB also 10 to 15 sub folder in my outlook.
I can see my all sub folder's emails.

I want to save the body of the email, but delete the attachments, but OE 6.0
doesn't appear to give me this option. Does someone know how I can do this.

After having tried various of methods without improvement, you can
have a try to use special utility to repair your Outlook Express dbx
file. I know one, called Advanced Outlook Express Repair.
Fortunately , It worked rather well for my corrupt Outlook Express dbx

Is there a way to save the pictures that are downloaded when I open my
E-Mail and re-link the HTML in the E-Mail? What I mean is not saving the
pictures to a folder, but just having them appear in the message when
I'm reading offline.

In Outlook Express, when I try to open attachments the Microsoft Word XML
Converter tries to save the file instead of opening it.  XML Converter is the
first program listed under the open window, is there a way to change that?

Success! Kuddos to Steve and Bruce.   After a day-long attempt to help me
open a file I did as instructed one more time and it worked.  Can't thank
them enough.  This site is wonderful for novices such as myself.

Using OE 6, W2kPro SP 4.
I've just discovered something when I'm notified there are new newsgroups.
I look at one of the new groups, exit the group, and when OE asks, "Do you
wish to subscribe to this group?", I select No. But -

When I click on an NG folder, this error pops up ... Nothing new shows, but
I cannot find any new posts...
Configuration:
  Protocol: NNTP

Does anyone know what could be causing this, and how to fix
it?
In the mean time I will switch to Thunderbird.

A sub folder in my OE6 Inbox went away. It contained all my saved favorite
e-mails over the past few years.  Stupidly, no, I didn't backup.  I did a
file search,  and found it in a list of all the .dbx files but I can't open
it (or any of the others for that matter).  I'm out of ...

this just started a few days ago .
in oe 6 , the screen freezes up for
10 - 15 seconds and then it will

I'd like to know if there is a way to "sync" ALL 4 systems.
I want the same "folders" on ALL 4 systems, but I do not want to recreate
the folders individually.
