For some reason, after Windows Updates are run the Internet

We had a power outage and when my computer came up, outlook express is
totally blank and just "hangs"--clicking on anything just gives me the
hourglass and when I close I get the "not responding do you want to send

Two questions:
Is it true that Microsoft has jettisoned OE support completely except for
newsgroups like this.  I note that OE is no part of new Microsoft Office
software.

Hey All, I use SP3, OE6 and all latest patches.
Every 100 OE open/close, i'm prompted to compact all folders.
I always say "YES", but since i installed SP3, I'm always ending up getting

OE6, IE 7 -- XP Pro
All of my recent sent messages are coming back with this message the last 20
minutes; it happened last night, too-- my DSL "provider" states its an OE
problem ... recipients have not blocked me, and/or receive the messages,

If I click a link in an email, it crashes IE7 9 times out of 10. I have to

I have always been able to view applets in stationery in OE and as of May 14,
