why are some of my messages going into my deleted box? Thanks for your help

Hello. I used a summy email address when I signed up for the Microsoft
newsgroups. I did that on the suggestion of someone, who asserted that my
email could be harvested by spamers. My question is: Is there any advantage
to using a real email address? The only one I can think of ...

Someone PLEASE help me make yahoo mail main e-mail provider and default. I
want to use it for all applications. I really do not even want Outlook
Express to be used at all. I wish that I didn't have it. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

I can't open any attachments!  When I click on the paperclip, it shows me
the name of the attachment, only it is very faint.  I click on save
attachments and I get nothing.  No messages or anything.  Can someone help me

I have repeatedly ;lost'  my inbox messages, and the computor shop do not
understand how !
I just boot up, select outlook express, and when it comes up,my inbox is
empty !

Tried to defrag and when I finished the report it is telling me: Files that
cannot be defragmented     3,259           232 MB          \Documents and
Settings\Sharon\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst.  Is this a problem??? and if so, how can

Was deleting 3 "Sent" E-mail - - OE6 froze - - when I reopened it, all of my
Sent E-mail was deleted- - and they are/were not in the Deleted folder.

How do I send a premade html file so it displays inline to the

I'm using OE as my newsgroup reader. I save my posts to a dedicated email
folder, but the disadvantage is that the message thread ends up in "pieces".
What are the steps to saving them to a regular Windows folder, with the .nws
extension. Also, will it keep the original question ...

I configured my gmail account to work as POP3 in OE.
Till date I had no problems
But for the past eight hours I am getting error coce 133
What does this mean.?

Is there a way to put a graphic in the signature file that is a http link?
For instance our 'companylogo.gif' with http://www.companysite.com as the

When I choose tools and then down the menu to go to accounts near options,
it isn't there not even greyed out!

Help! My boss signed in to the Outlook on my computer because he wanted to
use my contact list. Once he did, Outlook imported all his e-mails and now he
has nothing in his original inbox. Is there any way I can move all his emails
back to their original place?

I was sent an email the other day that was copied to both my email addresses.
One opened ok the other has made Outlook express hang. Unfortuantely this is
at the top of the inbox list and is highlighted as I clicked on it to delete
it so when the programme opens I do anything ...
