The other day when my mom opened Outlook Express (v5), all the
messages in her Inbox were marked as read. The previous day, there had
been 60+ unread messages in the Inbox, and she didn't mark any of them
read. Any suggestions on what might've caused this to happen?

For some silly reason Microsoft office update started on the wifes computer.  
This installed somthing so she could use IE on a Windows 2000 OS to retrieve
hotmail.  In doing so this appears to have re-installed outlook express and
all of her previous emails, contact etc are now ...

how do I stop OE from always using the same address in the TO field
as it attempts to help auto-complete the entry ?

Hi, When I receive some emails "not all"  and this person in the email is
talking or singing, Their lips move but I can hear nothing. And sometimes I
get "this file does not have a program assoited with it for performing this
action.Again not all just some and I cant even open it ...

Hello ! In Outlook express, my sent items and deleted items are empty, yet
the corresponding dbx files are 95 and 88 MO large !
Is this normal ? Can i do anything to save up some disk space ?

using block sender, I can see that these spam senders
use different names etc. to negate the blocking process

When sending messages in Outlook express 6 The  messages do not leave the
outbox and are resent the next time you send and receive. You must physicaly
delete or move the messages. You cannot put them in the sent folder. I woul
dlove a suggestion as to how to fix this. Please ...

With MS Home Edition XP I try to download Adobe Reader and get blocked. How
do I proceed? It has something to do with ActiveX (I think) but have not
found a solution.

Trying to use USPS postage and label option-When I try to print I get a
message "internet explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to
your computer. Click here for options,--I select download file --New message
"page cannot be refreshed without resending information" ...

Have: WinXp with SP2
Without warning lost all the - Inbox files/
Any way to get them back?

I can get most of the newsgroups at my ISP
but some of my favourites are inaccessible.
Is there any way to fix this?
