Hi could anyone help me with a setting to speed up my message download time.  
My messages used to download at a great speed but after I had some repair
work done on my computer they now take forever - I'm not sure what to do.

I can't delete any messages from my in-box and not all from local folders.
I have tried deleting the in-box following Bruce Hagen's suggestions to
other users with a similiar like problem with no luck. Following his
suggestions I do get rid of the messages in the in-box. but still ...
