I recently downloaded IE8 around the sametime this problem started. I can delete some of the email in the inbox but most I cannot delete. Could this problem be linked with the download of IE8? If not then what could it be?

I can hide the menu bar in Windows Live Mail but can I hide the toolbar which takes up precious screen space? Incidentally, what a relief after all the trouble I had with Outlook Express 6 after installing Internet Explorer 8. And it is so similar to OE6 that I could kick myself ...

I know this question must be asked all the time, but how can I get messages out of dbx files that OE has decided it won't read any more? Prefer freeware (broke flatter than a hammered meadow muffin). Any assistance greatly appreciated.
