When is virtual server due out?
I can't find any kind of guestimate.

I have a few different ghosted systems that I add patches
to weekly and run some tests. Would it be possible to
take these existing ghosts and convert them to virtual
machines with Virtual PC 2004? And, if it is possible it

Does anyone know if it will be possible to migrate from VPC 2004 to Virtual
Server?
I understand that technically VPC is not supported on W2k3, and that VS
requires W2k3, but, at minimum, will the disk images be compatible? i.e.

Is there a way to know whether CPU activity on host machine is indicitive of
VPC doing something? When I bring VPC to the foreground, I get about 70% CPU

My host O/S is Windows XP.   My guest O/S is Windows 2003.  I have the
Loopback connector installed in XP and it seems to be working fine.
My host IP address under the Loopback is 192.16.1.1.  The IP address on the

I'm running VPC 2004 on WinXP Pro.  I can't get VPC2004
to boot from any bootable image nor a bootable Win2K3
