When I use VPC2004 without any CDR Packet Writer in host
OS, I can access my CDROM. But when I installed Roxio's
DirectCD(5.x), I can't access my CDROM in my guest OS(no

I choose Windows NT Server (also Other, Windows 2000 etc), 4000MB Harddisk

I thought I would try installing the Longhorn preview under Virtual PC 2004.
Has any tried this? Does it work? If so, do you know if "other" should be
selected as the operating system or should one of the other listed operating
systems be used?

I've been running Windows 2003 under Virtual PC 5.1 build 370
through Netgear RT314. I've now replaced the RT314 with the
WGT624 which is simuliar to RT314 but with wireless. If I
connect my lan via rj45 Windows 2003 Server gets an address

When will Virtual PC support wireless networks?
I'm trying to get VPC 5.2 to run with my Wireless but
no luck as yet. Assume VPC must support these adapters to be
