I've installed VPC 6 on my iMac but for some reason, it doesn't
seem to connect to the DSL internet. I allocated 256MB to the
program and selected the recommended Network Sharing option,
to use the same settings as the Mac. When I click on Microsoft

I can't install the Connectix 5.2 trial version without a
key, and I can't get a key because Connectix is gone.

Maybe someone in the group has tried this already?
The problem is how to distribute changes to images for training use. The
images need to be as small as possible, otherwise we will have to use the
DVD over UPS protocol and incure high latency and costs :-)

When VPC 2004 was released the other day on MSDN, I
thought I'd give it a try by installing the PDC preview
of Longhorn.  Each time I attempt to install, it gets to
the point where it starts to copy files and aborts with

I'm trying to install the new Additions on an image I made
using VPC 5.2.
VPC 2004 starts OK and correctly tells me that the current
version of the Additions package is out of date. I choose

I've installed Longhorn Client Preview into a Virtual PC with 400Mb.
Longhorn is so slooooow, that even starting Paint takes 40 secs. I've
installed additions and everything seems in place. I've read in other
threads that install in VPC is slow, but Longhorn install took more than 4

...after my first post here with an email account specifically created for
posting here and never used anywhere else and I have been sent 83 emails
with the Swen virus.
That virus gathers email accounts from newsgroup posts in newsgroups
