Hi, I've installed VPC on my machine, but everytime I try
to load or make a new image my computer freezes. Nothing
moves - mouse, keyboard etc.
My system is:
Free upgrase to Virtual PC 200415 Dec 2003 19:42 GMT1
The MS web site has a form a user can fill out to get a
free upgrade to Virtual PC 2004. This form is on the MS
website but it's totally unlike anything I have ever seen
from MS.

I have a WinXP machine with NTFS partitions and I'm
trying to setup WinMe under Virtual PC.  I can't get this
working for the life of me.  WinMe setup keeps
complaining about me not having a "MS-DOS Boot Partion".

I'm running VPC 2004 and am having trouble with the VPC
Ethernet Services.  They seem to install, but completely
disable my network adapters.
ipconfig returns no information at all.

If I want, for example, Visio 2000 to be available on XP
the host, Windows2000 and WindowNT the guest operating
systems, do I have to install the application for each
Virtual PC?  How does the software handle that?

Is there a way to start my guest OS automatically as a
service?  I mean, I like to have my guest OS running
right after I turn on the host PC, even no one is logging

I've been using VPC2004 from MSDN, and I'm seeing a freeze of the entire VPC
application, and occasionally the host machine for ~30sec when I insert a
CD/DVD or the machien boots.

this program seems to get very hungry and hog 100 %
processor and all my ram, anyone else have this problem
and if so how did you cure it, seems to be worse when
working with dos!!!
