 I just installed VPC 2004 from the cd included in our
kit per our Volume Licensing agreement.  I created a new
Virtual Machine and pointed it to a .vhd file I used daily
under Connectix VPC 5.1.  Upon startup, the VM showed two

the Host hardware when trying to run Virtual PC 2004 (and most likely have
ran prior versions of VPC perfectly fine).

When installing Virtual PC 2004 my network settings get
corrupted.
If I do a ipconfig /all (on my winXP pro host PC) i get
the following reply:

I'm running dos 6.22, win 3.1 on VPC 5.2 and can't seem to get win32s to
behave. It installs OK, reboots, then whenever I run a 32 bit app, even
Freecell which comes with it, I get a page fault and the VPC crashes. Host
puter is WinXP BTW.

I'm trying to put on nt4 workstation.  I create a virtual
disk.  When i start the install for NT4 and it come to
pick where to put the os the only thing that shows up is
the cd rom.  I have two drives in the pc.  What am i

   I would like to know if activating the Power Management and/or ACPI in
the BIOS can have some effect when it come to a guest Windows OS to shut
down.  Actually, Windows seems to wait many seconds before closing at the
end of a shutdown, like if it was waiting some sort of signal ...

What is the latest on the G5 and Virtual PC compatibility?  The Virtual PC
v.6.1 doesn't host to the G5 Powermac.  MS isn't shy about sharing this
information either.  But as they progress for a fix, how will one know?

I know how to use them but i don't know how to create floppy disk image and
put some file on it.

How can i have access to host PC file system from inside the Virtual PC?
I know i can do that with network shares, but i would like to know how can i
do the with actual file system.
