anybody have any luck getting longhorn to run via VPC? I
can get it installed but the video driver is only 4-bit

I'd like to create a virtual hard disk that is a link to a
physical partition on my hard disk. I have a single disk
with three partitions - my NTFS system drive C:, a Linux
swap partition and a Linux ext3 partition.

Using VPC 2k4, when I launch a Guest OS (Windows XP) and
I've allocated 384MB's of Physical Memory to that Guest,
TaskMan on my host PC only shows that 17MB's of Memory

Today I tried to use a differencing disk for the first
time.  I have a baseline image with WinXP.  I created a
differencing virtual disk and bound it to the baseline
image.  I also added the disk as the second drive via the

Does anyone know why I would lose scroll wheel support
under a guest Win98SE? The scroll functions fine with XP
as the host?

Does VPC 2004 support USB on the host? I can't find any info or posts that
say that is doesn't, and I can't find out how to do it.
