is it possible in this version or the upcoming version to

anybody have any luck getting longhorn to run via VPC? I
can get it installed but the video driver is only 4-bit
and no sound?

I installed (without any problems) MS-DOS 6.22 (German) in

I want to built a parent instance of WindowsXP on virtualpc2004 and the
diskspace of the file (*.vhd) should be a small as possible. So I removed
some files on guest-XP (Servicepacks, dllcache, drivers.cab, system
restore,..) and I also defragmented the harddisk. According to help ...

I installed win2k3 on this virtual pc 2004, and I found the sound card
driver is not there, and probably no way to search for it at internet.
I see a previous regarding this was extract the driver from XP CD. Can

I'd like to create a virtual hard disk that is a link to a
physical partition on my hard disk. I have a single disk
with three partitions - my NTFS system drive C:, a Linux
swap partition and a Linux ext3 partition.

Using VPC 2k4, when I launch a Guest OS (Windows XP) and
I've allocated 384MB's of Physical Memory to that Guest,
TaskMan on my host PC only shows that 17MB's of Memory
are being used by VIRTUALPC.EXE.

Is there some sort of guide on how to do this?  I see it referenced but
can't find any real details.   It would help me out in my situation with
disk space.  Thanks.

Does VPC 2004 support USB on the host? I can't find any info or posts that
say that is doesn't, and I can't find out how to do it.
