I have this weard problem at my work place.
I have just allocated a dual XENON 2.8GHx + 2GB ECC Registerd Mermory
machine as workstation.
It use IOntel Server MB and 2 SATA drives.

Virtual PC installed fine.  I started my first virtual
machine and tried to load windows 2000.  As far as I can
tell, it scanned my floppy drive, but not my CD-ROM.  I
got an error message "Reboot and Select proper Boot

When i install Windows the size of the virtual pc file is
very big. The data is not so much but the system files are
located far from the data. How can I solve it so the image
becomming smaller.

First, I am using virtual PC 6.0.  I am trying to change the year in the
control panel  (windows 2000 pro.)  I change the year. then I click
appply. then I click O.K.  as soon as I leave the control panel window,
an d then return to it, the time is reverted to the original time.  ...

How do I fix this
When installing VPC 2004 on a clean(New) machine with Win XP pro  with internet connection through a Router.
I get a error when I install and I must run a Install.bat in this folder on the CD
D:\program files\Microsoft Virtual PC\Utility

As a software developer I love Virtual PC 2004, but I have a strange problem
with it. First let me explain briefly my network at home. I've a Belkin 54g
Wireless router attached to an ADSL modem. I've 2 pc's with wireless Belkin

I have the following problems:
- When I create a new HD with virtual disk tool to
install Windows 98, the Win98 setup give a warning: the
disk is not FAT but NTSC and Windows cannot be installed

From within my VPC session I have no problems browsing a network share
on the host machine.  However, when I try to access the files, copy
them to the VPC drive for example, the explorer windows locks up.
This is using the Network Adapter on the Physical computer.
