Using Virtual PC 2004 (build 582)
When NT4 Server (SBS) boots off setup disks it cannot see
the Virtual HD.  Here's what I did.
I booted off a Windows 95 boot disk, formatted the C:

Question?  I was wondering how this might be done.  We

We were using Connectix Virtual PC for some time. The guest
operating system that we were using is Linux ( RedHat 7.2
flavour). In linux, we are running our own Application
which is quite _disk I/O intersive_.

Anyone know how to make this work .... I have one virtual hd thats is two
partitions one with 1.6 Gb of data and 3.6 Gb free and the other with 3Gb of
data and 8Gb free .. the virtual hd is nearly 13G on disk however and it
doesnt reduce its size when I run the disk wizard ???

Hope you can help me with this. I'm building a demo environment on a
stand-alone PC (no network connection), and have Win 2003 installed on
Connectix 5.2 running our application.

I have used Redhat Lnux 9.0 as client OS within Virtual PC 2004. But I can
only use XWindows under the 800x600 mode. Can I set the display mode to
1024X768 or the other bigger size?

I can transfer files from a guest OS in a VPC to the host OS, but not the
reverse.  Any ideas about what's happening?
The host is WinXP Pro and the guest is Longhorn.  The VPC is the Longhorn
compatible version from the PDC.

I installed a copy of XP on a spare computer that I do
not have connected to the internet. The software says I
have 30 days to "confirm", "verify" the copy on-line. Can

I can't seem to get things working, the boot loader (Grub
at 800*600 16bpp) works fine but I can't get X to start.
