it seems that a VPC-Computer installation acts as a new computer in the network of the host-computer. That results in additional work for the admin (configure the VPC-Computer in the Active Directory, ...).

Does VirtualPC "copy" my real pc? I mean, including the motherbord with BIOS etc.? Or does it use the "real" hardware? I ask, because i want no risk. first i want test the bios upgrade on a virtual pc. that's why i ask for it.
