I'm trying to install Windows NT4 on Virtual PC 2004. I've created a 2 GB virtual Disk and a FAT 16 partition, formatted the partition. Booted with a Windows 98 boot disk and executed Winnt.exe from I386 dir.

I'm using VPC 5.2 to run a domain controller image of Windows Server 2003, I'm running it on Windows XP Professional SP1a volume license. I'm trying to get basic network connectivity between the XP Pro machine and the 2003 machine, here's what I've tried thus far:

I have just installed VPC2004 (MSDN Version), I set up 3 machines but none of them seems to have access to a virtual HD, although they all have virtual HD's associated with them. This is making it a bit difficult to install an OS :-))

I just installed the VPC04 version from MSDN I need to install W98 on it, but the CD I have from MSDN is not bootable and I have found no way to create a boot disk (I'm running XP Pro ) with CDROM support, I'm running out of ideas and getting full of frustation with this, anybody ...
