be imaged using Altiris' Rapid Deploy, the product works fine. The

I'm using VPC 5.2 to run a domain controller image of Windows Server
2003, I'm running it on Windows XP Professional SP1a volume license.
I'm trying to get basic network connectivity between the XP Pro
machine and the 2003 machine, here's what I've tried thus far:

I have just installed VPC2004 (MSDN Version), I set up 3 machines but
none of them seems to have access to a virtual HD, although they all
have virtual HD's associated with them.
This is making it a bit difficult to install an OS :-))

I just installed the VPC04 version from MSDN I need to install W98 on it,
but the CD I have from MSDN is not bootable and I have found no way to
create a boot disk (I'm running XP Pro ) with CDROM support, I'm running out

Install a Windows XP virtual machine took me about 6 hours, and executions of other programs is very slow too.

We are trying to install VPC2004 on a high end Compaq server with a nice
fast RAID5 controller and SCSI drives.  The problem I am running into is
VPC2004 requires WinXP Pro or Win2kPro as the base OS.  Compaq does not have
any RAID drivers for either OS and the OS's wont see my nice ...
