Disable Save State on menu04 Feb 2004 00:09 GMT2
I have a business requirement that states Save State must
not be an option on shutdown of the virtual machine.
Is this possible?

I've had a problem with the persistance of the shared folder assignment in
VPC.  When I make an assignment of a shared folder in the Settings AFTER I
start the guest OS (Longhorn in this case), it's fine for that session and
persists until I start VPC again and look at the Settings ...

I installed it on 2 machines, and all works fine. Slow, but fine.

Whenver I attempt to reboot or shut down my NT virtual
PC, it freezes at the NT splash screen until I close
Lotus Notes. The virtual PC then continues as normal.

Does anybody know how to relocate the .VMC file. Currently
it is always put under HOME\My Virtual Machines (where
home is actually a network directory). I would like to
relocate this file to a local drive to increase

I have an image (norton ghost image) of a laptop I'm
using. I would like to create a guest vm off this image
instead of building the VPC from the ground up. Is that

I am trying to set up a VPC of SBS 2003 Server and a VPC Client of Windows
XP, but I am having issues with the networking of the 2. The host computer
