Whenver I attempt to reboot or shut down my NT virtual PC, it freezes at the NT splash screen until I close Lotus Notes. The virtual PC then continues as normal. Does anyone know how to solve this?

I have an image (norton ghost image) of a laptop I'm using. I would like to create a guest vm off this image instead of building the VPC from the ground up. Is that doable? I'm a newbie to the product, forgive my ignorance.
