Is it possible to stop a virtual machine from syncing its clock with the
host? I need to move the clock around on a guest install of Windows XP
to test SUS, and I don't really want to have to change the time on my PC.

I downloaded a trial version of VPC 2004.  I installed on
my laptop running Windows XP Pro.  I setup a VPC for
Windows 2000 and when i start the VPC, i get an error:
Reboot and select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media

I am using VPC 2004 to install Windows 2000 server.  The
problem I am having is I have a ghost image on the
network that I need to use but I can't create or find a
DOS boot disk for VPC 2004.  Can someone please point me

Any idea if there is a work around for this? After
installing Virtual PC 2004 on my XP Home installation, I
get the following message when ever i run the program. it

released? Given that the trial version works you would expect a patch to be

message when completed.  That Virtual PC was not able to
install Virtual Drivers.  Reboot machine and install from

I am trying to uninstall Connectic Virtual PC Trial version but was not
successful.  As I tried to install VPC 2004 trial, I keep getting the
message to uninstall previous trial version.  I have tried to remove all
aspects of the trial version using Norton Clean Sweep and search the

I tried to deinstall VPC.
Then I tried to reinstall.
Now I always get the message:

I had an existing VPC 4.3.2 Windows 98 SE vhd. Before
upgrading to VPC 2004, I had removed the 4.3.2 Additions
from this VM.
I next loaded the VM in v2004, installed the VM Additions

I aqm trying to install nt on my xp pro system and keep
getting the blue screen of death. If anyone has had this
problem please let me know what I should do. The error I
receive is a stop error.
