I am having problems joining a VPC guest W2K server to a domain and then
logging in. I get an error message saying that the domain is not available.

I've got two computers, one dektop (named DSK) with
VMware running (named VMW) sharing the NIC plugged into

and this laptop (named LAP) with Virtual PC running (VPC)

Sometimes when I change pages on this forum I lose the
plusses beside the threads.  I have to use the Expand All
to see replies.  Sometimes the Expand All disappears from
page one.  Refreshing does not help.

I have created a virtualPC with one NIC assigned to one of the adapters,
installed Windows NT Workstation 4.0 SP6a, and installed the Virtual Machine
Additions. During the installation of NT, the one NIC is "detected" and

What does VPC really do for me. When loaded does the VPC XP
running on the MAC allow PC application the ability to use
all of the MAC's hardware? "G" Wireless, superdrive,
firewire 400/800, USB, etc?

For some reason I cannot get sound in Lindows 4.5.  There
is no remark by the Lindows entry on JM's list of OS's, so
I assume somebody has gotten the sound to work normally.
The host is providing sound just fine.
