I've been reading thru the documentation, but maybe it
would be easier for me to ask - specifically - what I
would hope to use it for. I currently have my PC setup
for a MOC course (i.e. London, Vacouver, Denver in a

I have a PC running XP with an Intel Pro/1000 MT network
adaptor.  Virtual PC will not recognize the NIC and, in
fact, continually misidentifies the NIC and refuses to
allow the drivers to be installed.

In the case where you have a server to upgrade would it be possible to:
1. install VPC software on an 2000 server for example.
2. install the new 2003 on a VPC.

with just the os windows or linux in it and either outlook
or evolution respectively, than wrap another layer of
security around it by running an intrusion detection

I'm having trouble installing Win 98 on an XP PC using
VPC 2004.  The PC does not have a floppy drive, and VPC
is prompting for a boot diskette.

physically has an "Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network
