My physical memory is only 256, is there anyway i can use the virtual memory to run a virtual PC. Cos i tried running win2003 on the virtual pc it wouldn't even install because it only allowed 204MB.

I successfully installed Redhat 9 on a WinXP Pro system using VirtualPC. However, I am unable to share any folders across both. I was thinking about setting up SAMBA to do so. Anyone have any experience and would like to share it?

I am hosting our company server with a hosting company. I suspect that they might be giving us a virtual PC rather than a physical server. How do I check it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been using VPC for a while and had problems from the beginning. The virtual disks get corrupted and it hangs the host. There is no way to start that specific guest again. The host halts totally, no mouse, no NumLock, no anything but frozen screen. Only reset button helps. ...

Does anyone know if you can load Linux RedHat 9 as an OS through VPC? I've tried several times, but "error 11" comes up and reboots the Virtual PC. Any comments, thoughts, consoins? Any help would be much a appreciated.

ALl was going well with installing and using VPC with a Win2000 virtual OS until I added Virtual Machine Additions. Now I'm getting a blue screen that talks about drivers corrupting memory.

How can I get the virtualpc to start up automaticly with out it asking me to press the OK button? Is this only on the trail version? I would like it to put it in the start menu, and not have to press OK in order for it to start.
