Does anyone know the correct way of licencing the
additional operating systems that might be installed
using virtualpc. I know that MSDN Universal can install
without licence conflict but what about a production

Anyone know if a DVD image can be created and captured within Virtual PC? I
have a DVD ROM drive of course, but the iso I created was not recognized by
the VPC as a valid image.

I created a new virtual pc with default settings but when
I installed Windows 2003 Server in the Virtual PC it took
forever.
The settings are default.

I need to demo software to customers which runs only on
Win Server 2K or 2003. As my main PC is box-fresh top-
spec XP laptop, it seems reasonable to run Server 2003 in
a VPC, performance isn't an issue.

I have installed a vitual Win98 drive on my Win2000
machine, but the serial port is not working inside the
vitual drive.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Trying to take a NT4.0 SP6a image from another system and
load it into VPC.  Image loads up just fine, system boots
no BSOD.
Problem is the NIC.  I cannot get it to bind correctly

I have a bootable CD that I created from MSDN for Windows 2003 (or at least
when I drop it into the cd rom drive, it tries to install W2003).
When I try to use it to install Win2003Std in Virtual PC, I see this on the
command line (black) screen:

I'm trying to setup two DC's in a private network, but
still have access to the Internet. The first DC will be
the root domain hosting AD, DNS and DHCP. The second will
be the child domain of the root.
