I can't get internet under windows 2003 datacenter. WIndow
can't access to my NIC. I have instaleld XP and all work
fine with the same config. Anyone know how to solved this?

I didn't get vary far trying to install OS/2 Warp V3 under Virtual PC.
First off, it wouldn't boot from the Diskette when I set memory to 96
mb. I had to set it down to 64 before it would boot. I always thought
OS/2 liked lots of memory.

Just a question to throw out there on order of installing
software. Does it matter?? With a clean re-format, XP-Pro
for an OS, Office 2003, .NET 2003, Virtual PC and then
load SQL to run in a dev environment in VPC??

as well as reading various posts in this newsgroup and am
having problems figuring out how to make an internet
connection from within the virtual guest machine.

1. How do I get it to access my Windows 98 CD so I can install w98 on a
virtual machine? I created the virtual machine, but it won't access the
CD-ROM drive containing the W98 CD, although it knows about it (F:). I also
can't get to a situation where I can run SETUP.EXE from the ...

I would like to setup two monitors, two keyboards and two
mice all to the same tower.  I am trying to play a game on
a simulated network if possible.  I know it would be
easier to go out and just get a second PC I am planning on

Initially I created a new XP virtual pc using the same login and domain as
the host pc and it connected fine to the network.
Now all of a sudden at the windows login I now get "Windows cannot connect
to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise

Installing MS Virtual PC 2004 works fine until I

With "Shared networking (NAT)" setting, do I need to
install the antivirus software on the guest os?  Is it
enough that the antivirus software is running on the host?

Or do you have to re-install everything? I have a
situation where I have a special build of lots of pieces
that is hard to recreate again.

Hooaaaawwwww, I download VmWare (the oposite of VPC) and is wonderfull in
all aspects, Funcionality, the machine run as other machine in my network i
install WinServer 2003 enterprise, and connected by terminal service from
other machines and all run prefect, install Linux and ...

i have tried everything to get jit vitual machine
downloaded and nothing works can some one help me plz

Can someone please help me on how to install Win98 on the
VPC?  I have the boot disk but it is still not allowing
me to install it.
