Clipboard Paste Performance01 Jun 2004 00:14 GMT11
Currently clipboard paste in VPC 2004 really bites.  It is extremely slow
and it loses linefeeds. Previously I used VMWare and there clipboard paste
was pretty fast so I know it can be done.  :-)  Please consider fixing this
in a future release.

I'm using Virtual PC on my new Dell Laptop which has a
max resolution of 1920x1200. I cannot seem to make
maximum resolution of my guest OS go higher than

I have a large install base of VPC5.2 running MSDOS622 in
a vpc which has shared access to a local folder. I went to
try this on vpc2004 and it says i cant. Can anyone help?
Im assuming that the funcitonality isnt available anymore?

I'm gettin to my limit where when I try to use \ in my
DELL notebook for my vm's, its becomes # signs. Anyone
experience this problem before ? please help.

I notice that When ever Fixed vs. Dynamic Hard Drive is mentioned, a typical
remark is made that Fixed HD is Huge on resource. Is there nay thing beyond
the actual space taken by the Guest that the Fixed Hard Drive mode takes?
I.e. if HD space is Not a Problem what so ever would a ...

I'm trying to mirror our exchange 5.5 and win2k AD envoironment in
Virtual PC 2004 (running on windows 2k Srvr) to test an Ex2k
migration. I'm having problems copying the priv.edb file to the
virutal system. I've tried copying via network share, FTP, and even

i have tried this nice proggy for the first time now and

when the Virtual PC is processing.  The Virtual Machine

I have two adapters on my host pc but when trying to change a setting to a
virtual pc I see only one.
I've checked and turned on the virtualpc protocol on the adapter, yet I
don't see it.
