I'm new to VPC..... My initial impression is it's toooo slowww.
I'm installing a Win 98 machine with 128 of RAM.
It seem to be running way slower then the 350Mhz machine I last used for Win
98.

Anyone know how I can install windows 3.1 on virtual pc?  I have virtual pc
2004 for PC.  I have 3.1 install files on a ISO image and I only get so far
into the install program and it doesnt work.  Do I need to get ms-dos? I
have msdos 7.1 which I have installed on the virtual pc ...

I installed the VPC, I created one schemes virtual for
linux, but, when I give one click in "start", it schemes
restarts alone.  I am using Windows XP Professional, 512
MB, processor AMD.

Question.. What is the MS policy on the OS Lic?  Suppose
I load Virtual PC on an XP box and my Virtual PC is a
Development session identical to my normal desktop.  
Would I need to have 2 XP Licenses?

I'm running VPC on OS X (Panther) on an iBook. I know it ran better (faster)
when I had OS X.2 when it ran in classic. I have two questions:
1. How do I set it up to run in classic when I use 9.2 has my start up disk?

to do is this:
We have a machine (XPsp1, P4 2.4GHz 1 GB ram) with 2
VPC's (2x XPsp1). This works fine.

I tried VPC 2004 trial and fell in love. everything
worked I setup everything from DOS to 2003 Server with
no problems. Then I bought the retail and it locks up
in every one on my AMD 2000+ 512 machine.

Hello, can anyone enlighten me on the virtual pc licensing
situation.  Obviously a license is needed for each OS you
install on it but what about software.  If i install

I'm running VPC 2k4.  I have 3 client OSes, 2 w2k3 running Exhange 2k, 1
w2k3 running Exchange 2k3.  The w2k3 box is extremely slow to reboot.  It is
the 1st DC.  It takes 10-15 minutes, maybe longer, to reboot/shutdown.  I
