When you use the "Save Settings" option to exit VPC, the
clock gets frozen in time.  If you don't use this option,
the shutdown and boot up takes forever.  Is there any way
to make VPC pick up the time from the Host PC?

I've searched all over and cannot find the exact answer

This is a silly problem that is driving me nuts.
I have installed the loopback adapter on my XP host machine, and configured
it to a static IP of 192.168.99.1.
I configured the virtual Pc (running Server 2003) to use the loopback

UnixWare 2.01 and Unixware 2.12 will hang after the
initial boot loader. The same occurs with VMWare 4.0.5.
VMWare 4.5 can boot UnixWare 2.x, but has incompatible
