Anyone care to comment on the relative merits of VPC against VMWare (or vice versa). I realise VMWare do virtual datacenters and servers etc, but just a comparison of the Virtual Workstation against VPC.

Is there a way to tell a diff disk that i'd copied to a new location that the parent is also at that new location ? My VM won't start ! The diff disk thinks that the parent is still in the old location.

Interesting, it would appear old vb6 pukes with error [method '~' of object '~' failed] on host computer when ever a virtual machine is running. I knew this error use to occur when vb6 ran out of memory, but my vm only takes 212meg on a 1 gig machine. Don't know what else could ...
