I have a win2k hard disk image for VirtualPC that is
approximately 3.2GB is size but actually only contains
approximately 1.5GB of data.  The original image was
created with 16GB of space with dynamic expansion.  Is

I have managed to get solaris installed once more on Virtual PC and it is up

thought i should be more specific on last post.  i've
installed pcdos (6.3) and msdos driver for my cdrom.  
win98 gets to the install point where it asks for
verification of upgrade eligibility where i normally put

using upgrade cd.  get to the point where i usually
install my win95 cd, but install hangs.  cant go any
further.  ran vpc additions after installing cd drivers.

I'm having difficulting binding the NWLink IPX/SPX stack in Virtual PC 2004
(Windows Server 2003). I have been told that VPC 2004 has a faulty IPX
implementation. Does anyone know if this is a true statement?

I know the VPC video card is an S3 Trio, but am I right in thinking
(and I think I picked this up some time in this group) that it only
becomes an 8Mb card after the VPC additions are installed? Otherwise
its just 4Mb.

My host pc is Windows XP
I installed Debian Linux on VPC and a ssh server.
But i can't reach ssh server from windows xp
when i try ping debian, i doesn't work too

I have a shared folder on a virtual PC with Windows 2000.
Although I can see these folders from the Host computer,
when I copy something to them it fails.

In one of the documents from Microsoft I found that
Virtual PC can allocate 3.6 GB memory for one application.
Usually it is 2 GB and with the /3GB switch in the
boot.ini I can allocate 3GB.

At the end of instalation, my PC restarted and VPC tells
