When I run setup from the VPC 2004 CD, I get a message that I must remove the trial version before proceeding. 1. Are there any preferences or settings I should save before removing the trial version?

After a reboot I receive the message "Application failed to initialize properly" when launching Virtual PC 2004. I have found references to the problem being related to Symantec pcAnywhere. However, I do not have that installed.

I have a vpc with 100MB of ram and it took me about 3 hours to install WIN2K and i have another physical computer with 64MB of ram and it only took about 45 MIN.

Has anyone been able to make this work on VPC? Each time I try the install it hangs towards the end. I suppose this may be the same problem as with FC2.
