I built a new XP SP1 VM using RIS, everything works fine sysprep'd it and ghosted it to a file. I then used the ghost image to load a phisycal machine, and everything works fine except the physical machine keeps detecting a Virtual PC mouse device

I use VPC 2004 with two 2 virtual disk, on a Windows 98 guest system (host is Win XP). I have just created a expanding virtual HDD, and set it as the 3rd HDD. But it does not appear in Win98... weird... when I have a look on win98 device management windows, I can see 3 HDD ...

Now that XP64 is easily obtainable, I've managed to get most of everything I need to run, run under XP64, however it's a pain that the MS-DOS/ OS/2 & Win16 emulation simply isn't there... And unfortunatly Virtual PC will not run... It complains that the win32 emulated memory space ...

I have some ancient netware box that I found out I have to support, and I'd rather 'virtualize it'... I can load the OS & patch it, but I cant get the drivers to load, or the patched server.exe crashes, once it has been patched for protected mode bios access for pci drivers...

Host OS: Windows Server 2003 Guest OS: Windows XP When I access files on a share on the host (Windows Server 2003) from within the guest (Windows XP), Explorer just hangs everytime I try it.

Been evaluating VPC as a testing tool in our shop, but lack of support for USB devices is a real showstopper. Any chance MS plans to include USB support in future releases?
