I'm trying to load NT 4 server as a guest OS. I get "An
unrecoverable processor error has been encountered. The
virtual machine will reset now."
My Host OS is Win2K, 2.4GHz cpu, 1 gig ram. I have one NT

I'm assuming no one got the sound working in Mandrake Linux 10 in the VPC,
correct?
alsaconf and sndconfig seemingly sets it up correctly but the OS can't
initialize the SB16.

I have a 6GB VPC, I delete a 3GB file on the VPC, the HDD
stays at 6GB.
The help file suggest using the compact option.
The compacy option says you need to run a third party app

I have been getting this message ever since removing the duplicate ether
controller on the host machine from the device list as well as the registry.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled VPC 5.2, but to no avail.
I have even removed, rebooted and reinstalled the VPC Virtual Switch, ...

In VMware, it's easy to add a 2nd  virtual NIC to a VM.
But how is it done in VPC?  I assume VPC can actually
support 2 or more nics?

the product is helping me in ways i have always dreamed of.
i am trying hard to get off msdos in a business enviroment.
