In Win2K or XP, open Control Panel, Mouse, set the cursor scheme to the 'conductor' scheme. Float the cursor over some text. In a real PC, the I-beam part of this cursor shows up and inverts the pixels behind it.

i've installed virtual PC on windows XP pro and installed windows NT. Now to start windows NT i need to press ctrl- alt-del but when i do that it's like i'm not in virtual pc because the task manager for win XP shows up.

I can install Windows (Server 2003) fine in VPC running VirtualPC without admin rights, but when I try to install Visual Studio.NET in the client OS (having no admin rights on host OS but full admin rights on client OS) it won't install "Setup Runtime Files" of prerequisites.
