It is possible to connect the host pc to a network and the
guest PC to a different network using 2 NIC's?
I mean the two networks have different IP addresses,
subnet masks, gateway, etc.

Is there a way to disable the users from making any changes to the "image?"   eg set the default, which can not be changed, to discard changes.

I have set up a vpc running 2003 enterprise. memory allocated is 256mb.
Inside that guest's c: drive is the i386 for the win2003 enterprise.
The guest is configured to run as a domain controller, dns, wins, dhcp...
blah blah... memory in use <140mb.

I am trying to setup my VirtualServer2005 RC1 so that I
can install a VM machine with Windows 2000 using Unattened
install mode. I have created a winnt.sif file using
setupmgr.exe from the Windows2000 Deploy.CAB, and copyed
XP Pro Virtual Machine on XP Pro host27 Jul 2004 00:29 GMT8
If I am installiing an XP Pro on a host machine running XP Pro, do I need separate registration keys or can I activate the guest OS using the same registration key as the host?

I installed Windows Server 2003 as guest OS (host OS is XP pro, vpc 2004 Build 582).
The guest OS keeps forgetting the changes I made to the keyboard speed.
Does anybody know a workaround for this?

When I attempt to install Windows for Workgroups 3.11 in a Virtual PC, It locks up when prompting for User Registration.
I have Dos 6.22 running and are currently configured for NOEMS Memory. I have restricted my system memory to 8MB, however the same problem occurs.

The Virtual PC 2004 system requirements state that it only supports XP Pro
or Win2K Pro.  Other than a warning message on install, it seems to run fine
on Windows 2003 Server.  Does anyone know if the license in an way prohibits
running Virtual PC 2004 on Windows 2003 if it seems to ...
