Virtual PC 2004 locks up my computer and I have to do a hard reset. This happens quite a bit. Virtual PC has to be open to lock up my pc, but I do not have to be doing anything. I tried the fix for the AMD processor and installed the vmm.sys, which seemed to help, because now

I've been using VirtualPC at work with the Guest set to share the physical NIC. This works fine, but it of course causes the guest to retrieve a DHCP address from the company's network. The problem is that the guest then appears as a real machine to the IT department.

The help file says to hold the host key down and drag the guest text area, select Edit -> Copy and psaste into the host application. When I try this is doesn't select the text, it just creates a selection box around the area I wanted to copy. What am I doing wrong?

I find that close dialog box a bit confusing when I close a VM with an undo disk. Why does the "Commit changes to virtual hard disk" come up checked by default when I select "Save state and save changes"? Wouldn't this dialog be much less confusing if you got rid of this check box ...
