When I look in the Device Manager of my virtual Windows sessions, they all
show "Virtual HD."  To some extent I think I am about to ask a rhetorical
question, but.... is there a way to change this?

I can't seem to find answers to the following questions on virtual disks in
the documentation.  If you can help, it would be appreciated.
1) When would I use differencing disks?
2) How do differencing disks differ from any other disk type with undo

If I need a virtual machine to be addressable on a network external to its
host system (e.g. can ping it from external system), are my options for
networking limited to sharing the network adaptor with the host?  Advice
would be appreciated.

I recently downloaded the new SuSE 9.1 ISO image that has been made
available by SuSE. Unfortunatley, while the installation works just
fine, rebooting to the "hard drive" fails. Grub reports that no
bootable Kernel was found. When I look at the drive image I find that

I've been having a problem that Windows 2003 Server keeps

more usable than 800x600?  My screen is a LG L1710B TFT (1280x1024) on a
DVI connection with a Sapphire ATI Radeon Graphics Card.

I successfully installed the VPC 2004 trial and have several
VMs with XP in them running fine.
The problem I have is that the "Virtual PC Console" window
is too small and appears unsizable.  It has a sizing border,
