Is it to my advantage to disable the paging file in a VM running Windows XP Home with 256M of memory allocated to the VM? Will I see a performance increase? Or should I leave the paging file alone? Assume that I am running Win XP Home with nothing intensive installed or ...

I've just installed a new Wireless USB card - my old one got hosed somehow - and now I can no longer connect to the network via the VPC. Is there something to do in the setup to enable the new card? It is selected as the card to use, but do I need drivers or anything like that?

I have noticed that my user has the "Lock pages in memory" permission in "Local Security Settings" -> "Local Policies" -> "User Rights Assignment". Does VPC 2004 grant my user this right, or is it some other program that has granted this right to my user?

The mouse Icon does not work well in the virtual PC with win 2000, eg. the text box cursor is white and its very hard to find it.

I was wondering what exactly is going on when I have 2 virtual pcs set to Local Only. But one 1 of the vpc (let's say vpc1) I have 2 for the Number of Network Adapters. 1 adapter is set on Local Only and the other set to use the NIC.
