When using Virtual PC for Windows on a PC with a wireless network adapter, the adapter is unable to make a connection with the access point. Is there a hotfix for this?

WinXP host PC, Win2K client PC. On the client PC, open the control panel, Mouse, select the standard system cursors if they're not already selected (the 'none' scheme) Disable (un-check) pointer shadow, click 'ok'.

When I install VPC2004, I get the complaint that the network couldn't be installed properly, and I should reboot and run the "Utilities\install.bat" script. When I reboot, I find that I no longer have network connectivity.

I'm running Windows XP with SP2 freshly installed from MSDN. I've tried to install VPC 2004 but the installation is timing out. It seems to stall with the progress bar showing 60% completion. This is similar another problem posted on here, but I've had no problems
