I use a virtual pc with Windows XP. A smartcard reader (Omnikey
CardMan 2011) is connected to the serial port.
Normally the system recognizes the reader but not in the virtual pc.
Com1 and com2 are set to use the physical serial port.

I want to install Windows 98 SE from the MSDN operating systems DVD. However,
when I tell VPC to connect to the physical CD, the boot program only provides
options to install Windows 2000. The Windows 98 install files are there in a
sub directory but the DVD is obviously not set ...

emulator from working.  Does this apply to all Virtual PC build or just
Windows CE emulator builds?  If it applies to all builds is there an updated

I have Windows XP Pro running on my host, and I have installed Windows

I installed the Microsoft loopback adapter on the host, and configured it
with the classic IP: 192.168.1.1 (subnet mask: 255.255.255.0).
