I am trying to do a restore of production system to a
virtual PC. the guest OS is Windows 2000. I install win2k
and that workes without a problem. When I restore the
production system, upon bootup, the "starting windows"

This started happening all of a sudden with my Virtual
Machine.  I don't think I changed anything on the host
machine, and the VPC I have set not to save changes to

I need to move files to and from a VPC client and don't want to waste a bunch
of CD's to do so.  I'd like to use a USB key or USB hard drive.  No can do.  
VPC does not recognize them.  Any ideas?  This is also going to make it hard
to put ActiveSync on the VPC and setup my iPAQ ...
