My host PC (Windows XP) has a HP Deskjet printer connected via USB and shared
on my home network; all the real PC's in the house can see and print to it. I
have set up several virtual PCs with Shared Networking (NAT); they can all
see the internet, but not the printer share.

System Time in Win 98 VM23 Aug 2004 16:10 GMT2
We're running Virtual PC on a large number of PCs, and each one of them is
having trouble keeping the system clock in sync with a Win 98 VM. I checked
the settings for the VM, and it's set to the default settings - the VM isn't
paused if minimized or not selected.

Greetings.  I've got SuSE Linux 9.1 installed in a VPC2004 virtual PC and I'm
seeing a strange networking issue.  If I set-up the VPC network interface to
supply a NAT address, Linux seems to have no problems downloading large files
from the Internet (such as what happens when ...
Problems using COM ports 23 Aug 2004 06:59 GMT3
I have Windows XP running VPC 2004 trial.  I installed Windows 98 (probably
1st edition though I didn't check.)  We used some DOS based prograsm which
rely on the serial ports and are very sensitive to timing issues on the
ports (Modbus protocol.)  They run fine on a native Win98 ...
