I have installed two loopback adapters on the host OS (XP). Both adapters have Virtual Machine Network Services checked and I still don't see them in the network selection drop down list. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

I am thinking of finally getting VPC for when I get Tiger next year. It's been a long time since I used Windows. Does either Windows XP Home or Professional have a good reputation? Is one better than the other in terms of problems seen (ie, leaving out features as a variable)?

I used the SELFSSL tool from the iis Resource Kit to encrypt my admin website (virtual server administration console) and after applying the certificate I can use the https web site fine until I try to load a remote console.

I could not install RH9.0 or RH enterprise 3 with 1GB of memory setting for virtual pc. I got stuck at the line "VFS: Mounted root...". So I set up the virtual PC with 512MB and the installation went fine (Took very very long time reading from CD though)
