I'm running Windows 2000 Pro in Virtual PC. It seems that the hard drive runs VERY slow. Why is that? When installing software it takes forever. I looked at the Defragger and the drive is fragmented terribly. The Defragger takes forever also. Just curious. Thanks.

I have converted my old Win NT 4.0 installation in a virtual harddrive. Booting the machine I want to install a resonable grafic device, add a NIC, soundcard so., ... Is there a list of the haradware emulation of a virtual pc?

You may need to refresh Newsgroups in your Outlook Express browser before the new virtual server newsgroup, microsoft.public.virtualserver, appears. This is what I had to do before I could see it in my 'new newsgroups'.

Is it possible to migrate a VS2K5 virtual machine to a physical machine? If so, what are the supported ways to do it? If not, is Microsoft planning to include it as a functionality in the VirtualServer2K5 Migration Toolkit (P2V & V2P)?

I have 4 virtual PC's running and when i test an applicaiton on all 4 at the same time all 4 virtual PC's Processor Utilization is maxed out but the Host machine Utilization never goes above 25-27 percent. Is there a way to dedicate more of the processor to my virtual machines?

My host PC runs Windows XP, which supports IP over 1394. However, the "Virtual Machine Network Services" won't install. Is it a known limitation, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

I have installed Virtual PC 2004 on my computer but whenever I start it, I have a window poping-up saying that I need at least a Pentium II or equivalent. My computer is a AMD-K6 3D processor, 551MHz, 312 RAM. What shoul I do to make it work?
