VPC SP1 & Windows XP Client Sound15 Oct 2004 20:35 GMT6
After installing SP1 for VPC, I have found that a Windows XP SP2 client is noticeably faster. However, when it comes up and XP SP2 plays the login sound, the sound is too fast. I am guessing that some timer needs to be recalibrated. Is there a way to do that?

I've installed virtual PC on SFF PC, which has a VIA EPIA motherboard, with a
VIA SAMUEL 2 processor (800mhz).
When I start virtual PC, I get the following message:

When I attempt to remove the program via Control Panel | Add/Remove

Hardware: IBM t42, XP SP1 VPC2004 SP1
The problem am having is that when I am undocked, my VM's operate cleanly
and with out problem. When I dock my laptop on the port rep, the performance
of the VM's go in the toilet.

I don't know what is wrong but when I try to install it says that it can't
find Virtual PC 2004.  I do have it installed on my sytem in the default
location 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Virtual PC'.  The file 'Virtual PC.exe'
has a verison of 5.3.0.582.

dynamic expanded vhd?  and not just one that does both?
